It’s about to get biblical up in here….

Taking the word of the Christian God and twisting it to suit men’s goals is nothing new. The Roman inquisition, Spanish Inquisition, The Crusades, Salem Witch Trials… it’s not a new concept. Although history has shown that some of the darkest souls that has ever walked this earth twisted and warped the words of the Christian God. That those men thumping the bible were responsible for the murders of the innocent, responsible for the death of those that dared have a different belief.

Whatever my religious belief is- it totally does not include taking bits and pieces of a text and using them to excuse your horrible behavior.

“We will prevail….”

Prevail at what? Spreading ignorance & hate? Well yes, Sonya has that down pat. Although, I’m pretty sure her God frowns on being her such being a judgmental ass.  I’m sorry, but BSL advocates are the worst examples of Christianity ever. They are filled with such arragonce that they feel that their disgusting behavior is righteous.

Yeahh… I’m 100% sure Sonya isn’t listening to her “Lord”. I’ve yet to see a single one of them advocate for better laws & safety. Advocate for the extermination of multiple breeds of dogs, yes….. But not advocating for responsible parenting & responsible dog ownership? Using the story of Isaiah is a horrible choice- considering it involves a young boy somehow getting into a neighbors yard with chained up dog.

“The girl blew up a balloon for her younger brother, but it blew into their neighbor’s backyard. Little Isaiah chased after it toward a tied-up female pit bull.”

Isaiah was two years old. I would give their advocacy a bit more credibility if they stood up and said:

Hey, all chained dogs- including pit bulls have the potential of killing a child if that child somehow gets into a yard with the chained dogs. We have noticed that cases of chained dogs & unsupervised children have resulted in tragic & preventable deaths. Parents, know where your children are- especially if they are toddlers. Being aware can save their lives.”

Buuuuut we know that will never happen! That would mean they are advocating for responsibility.

Shhheeesh….the arragonce of Borchart knows no bounds. So, the Lord has appointed this flawed man to be the righteous voice of the Lord himself? That the way to the light is through Borchardt and his word?  That Borchardt has been given the trumpet of the Lord to warn his fellow mankind of the dangers of pit bull types?

You know who he reminds me of? William Stoughton, he was in charge of what have come to be known as the Salem Witch Trials. He spouted bible versus to justify his use  “specteral evidence” even when it was known to be used in error. He even had the jury who claimed Rebecca Nurse not guilty to deliberate again until they came back with a guilty verdict. Even when facts proved his specteral evidence as impossible he refused to acknowledge it. He even threw a hissy fit!

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and produce great signs and omens, to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”

—Matthew 24:24 and Mark 13:22 NRSV (1989)

I get uneasy when a man who happily enjoys harassing women & children spouts bible versus about what is good & evil. It makes me uneasy and should make the public uneasy at the religious God like importance that Jeff places on himself.  It goes hand in hand with his belief that the rules do not apply to him.

I’ve always read that things happen for a reason. If you do A then expect B to happen- I’m pretty sure their God understands the whole cause and effect thing, maybe they’ll figure it out too.

  1. While I am not especially religious, I am pretty sure the answer to WWJD is not to tell a minor to partake in a sexually deviant act. I am also sure that Jesus would certainly not smile about someone wishing 30 children were mauled during church to make a point.
