Borchardt Calls for “War” Against Pit Bull Owners.

Borchardt, founder of Daxton’s Friends has declared all out war on Pit Bull owners after the release of the new book written by Bronwen Dickey.

At this moment, sitting behind his computer in the great state of Wisconsin, Borchardt is messaging all of his fellow fear mongering minions and stuffing envelopes with his fliers while he seethes with his ever growing rage that the public is finally seeing just how hateful and violent the BSL movement has become thanks to a new article that was written by Josh Shaffer. It’s no secret that Borchardt is partially responsible for creating Pit Bulls & Amputees, an ” anonymous ” facebook page dedicted to the usual BSL reteric and Shaffer explains in the article just how BSL advocates attempt to stay anonymous while indulging in their usual online hate cyber attacks.  The bottom line? Borchardt is very mad, once again.

Not only does Borchardt send the materials used in physical stalking done by Craig Brown, he brags about it and in usual Borchardt’s  fanatic behavior, everyone who disagrees with him and the fundamental concept of BSL are all liars and frauds. He doesn’t want to hear a single thing UNLESS you are actively out stalking people who dare to speak up against the flawed BSL concept and his fragile grip on reality is slipping and it becomes glaringly obvious in his latest fanatical rant.

Calling millions of innocent families that chose to have pit bull/bully types and the common mutt for a pet as domestic terrorists is a great example of just how obsessive and all consuming Borchardt has become in the outright attack of the majority of the United States population. Ironically enough, the very thing he outlines in his rant, is the one thing he denies those who he is continuously attacking. Let’s break down his idiot questions and answer them:

  1. Can you find common ground with people that could give a shit about you and your family?

Has Borchardt found common ground with the millions of pit bull owners attempting to keep their family pets safe from the erratic and often dangerous behavior from his BSL movement? Does he give a “shit” about the millions of families living peacefully with their pit bull  type dog? That answer is obvious after you check out the many facebook pages created by Borchardt, many like his facebook page where he posts pictures of children who have pit bulls in the family. How many of those families has he victimized?

2. Can we find common ground with people who refuse to listen to your point of view,   discredit your source, or refuse to read the victim’s stories?

I don’t know, can Borchardt find common ground with the millions of families that are living peacefully with their dogs even after Borchardt attempts to discredit all of the professional affiliations that do not support BSL? Can he find common ground with the families affected negatively by BSL or will he continue to mock families that have to give up their innocent pet because of BSL?

3. Can we find common ground with people who care more about dogs than the innocent children maimed, mauled and killed by these dogs?

While the majority of the population sympathizes for the loss of a child or an injury done to a dog, the majority of the population still realizes just how rare dog bite fatalities are.  Why should families give up their innocent dogs because a tragedy happened? If you are a gun owner, will you be giving up your guns because a child was killed by a gun thousands of miles from you? Studies have shown just how ineffective BSL has been and how other methods such as education is one of the greatest tools in reducing dog attacks.

4. Can we find common ground with people who flat out deny the history and heritage of these dogs?

It’s interesting that Borchardt keeps circling back to the “history” and “heritage” of all pit type dogs. It’s no secret what the original purpose of the original breed was for and while there are obviously still dog fighters attempting to recreate the lineage perfect for the gruesome and illegal act of dog fighting, it’s a safe bet to say that the majority of “pit type dogs” sitting in homes are glorified mutts. Could they have “pit bull” in them? Of course, but then again, they could also have lab, poodle, great dane and about 400 other breeds mixed with them. Those that have  American Pit Bull Terriers are not blind to the history of their chosen breed and many of those that have rescued dogs from a fighting operation know all too well about why their dogs were created and yet it’s those individuals, like the owners of the Vick dogs that have done the greatest service to their community by showing just how amazing these dogs can be when taken out of the abusive environment.

Yet Borchardt still wonders why people just won’t toss their own beliefs out the window and support him and his failing cause. Not only does Borchardt search for conflict, he obviously enjoys the ability to stalk and confront people that he knows will not see eye to eye with him, either that or he is short that many brain cells where he honestly thought going to obvious rescuers that worked on finding homes for pit bulls would really sit down and listen to a man whose main goal is to kill all of their adoptable dogs that were pit bull type dogs?

At the end of the day Borchardt loves the conflict and trauma he inflicts. While he will never publically announce that he was the driving force and one of the admins of the Pit Bull and Amputee pages ( that ironically changed their name to “Pit Bull Public Safety Education”), it’s no secret in the inner circle of his fear mongering morons that he is one of the few running that offensive hate page. He’s more than welcome to dispute it, which he will, but he will not offer up any evidence to back his claim, which for Borchardt, that’s just the norm.

Borchardt calls for war and as usual, it’s just one more thing he will fail at.

Thanksgiving with the Cliftons

I guess when you are married to the man known for infidelity and bull shit statistics, one must live by a set of rules.

1. Never disagree with Merritt

Why is that? Go ahead and ask Merritt’s new wife’s son ….

Greg posted a picture of his children with a “Happy Thanksgiving” message onto the Facebook page of his infamous step father… It seems as if one of Beth’s children refuses to follow in his mothers footsteps and throw their family dogs under the bus and he’s paying the price for it. His own mother blocked him because her son- her flesh and blood- decided he didn’t want to hear Merritt’s regurgitated bull shit.

Maybe Beth doesn’t realize, but just because she married Merritt doesn’t mean her children have to accept him. Has she considered that maybe he doesn’t want that lying and notorious womanizer as his stepfather OR grandfather to his children? Considering the type of dogs Greg does own, maybe Greg is tired of Merritt classifying him as a KKK racist dog fighting piece of trash for owning pit type dogs?

Great mothering Beth, it’s either Merritt’s way or the highway…right?

Can’t make this sh@t up…

The collection of stupidity is over flowing …

Shall we begin?

Get Educated Fools….

Yes Jenny, it takes a lot of effort from your fellow morons to form a cohesive thought beyond kill all pit bulls, but you are not alone in your disgust with the crap your fellow idiots have been spewing. Just ask Freda…

Freda became offended at being labeled a “nutter”  after reading the controversial article by Clifton. You know, when he said anti- vaxxers were no different than pit bull owners. She dared to make her slighted feelings public and she was not so graciously dumped right on her ass by her former buddies. Yet- Freda isn’t the only one jilted either…. The gloriously haggish hateful Ninja has had her fill of the infamous hate group….

It’s never a good day when the Ninja feels the urge to puke but that’s the
NORMAL reaction to that disgusting page. Maybe that old hag has some brain cells left kicking around in that ‘ole head?

Shit is still Shit no matter how many times you change the name….

Linda Ann/ Linda Chapman…. I don’t get it… Are you not proud of your ignorance? I mean… Nice try on the whole incognito attempt. 69 days isn’t that far off.. Better think of a better name change.

Bitter Bob

I think this speaks volumes about their advocacy….

It’s alllllll a lie….

Cuz military personnel only live on base. If you live off base and own a pit bull, you just can not be in the military. It’s a fact ‘cuz Aaron says so. Also, ATTS was invented by Germans and not  by Alfons Ertel in 1977 and isn’t worth squat…somebody should email the national breed clubs that they have been duped.

The Under Cover Moron

I mean, who doesn’t sit around talking about how mean their pit bulls are?

Investigator Lance Wendling, he’s on the case… armed with a mic and Daxton’s Friends flyers and ready to take on the lying scumbags!

Daddy Issues…..

So she knows 25 women who own pit bulls…. One is in a relationship, 18 are always single and 6 are lesbians with men issues? Oh, right- and they are substituting their aloof mean daddies with pit bulls? Makes sense…. to absolutely no one.

You’re Welcome?

Wait- Borchardt warned him that members of his own victims advocacy would trash talk his ex girlfriend?  Borchardt feels that Marc Browns words were taken out of context? So, they didn’t sit around and talk about how glad they are the young woman was killed?

Go ahead and check out the rest here
I’m glad he warns people how his own advocacy will drag victims through the mud… Either way, you are most welcome, Borchardt.

Behind the Dogs.

So, I had this whole idea to write about pit bulls… Shocking, right?! However, I think what is just as important as our beloved multiple breeds that make up the awesome pit bull label are….. the people behind the leashes. The advocates, the rescues, the people that are knee deep in doing everything they can to fix the wrongs created by ignorance, stupidity and hate.

I’ve been really blessed to get to know people responsible for paving the way for my children and millions of others to have the pleasure of owning dogs that they grew up with. Advocates and rescues fighting to help veterans keep the dogs they need. Advocates and rescues doing everything they can to keep families and family pets united because of so many housing breed restrictions. Advocates and rescues building a stronger community by serving their communities, homeless pet services, s/n, free training classes, low income services, seriously… The list goes on.

Just like every city, Phoenix rescues are diverse and yet unique with the issues they face. Phoenix has a huge problem with an over population of dogs (thanks to the popularity of back yard breeding.). Phoenix has a dog fighting problem. Phoenix has a lot of issues and there are rescues and advocates like Trinity, founder and dog advocate with Master the Mutts, that work tirelessly every day to make our community a better and safer place for humans and pets.

I was blessed to have a moment to pick her brain about the hurdles many small rescues like her face.

1. What are some of the biggest issues you face as a small rescue?

Trinity: I believe most rescues would say finding fosters, although I am different from most rescues.  I do not use boarding and I have only two very close trusted fosters.  My biggest issues are funding and finding suitable adopters for my dogs and puppies.  I have had puppies who are now getting close to six months of age.  I have had adult dogs for close to a year before finding their forever homes.  Not that the dogs have any special needs or have any behavioral issues, there just isn’t enough people willing to adopt.  Caring for numerous dogs costs more then an adoption fee could ever cover.  Most of my adult dogs have close to $200 in vet bills and are only adopted out for $75-$125 dollars.  This does not include the cost of everyday care.

2. What are your views on breed specific legislation and breed bans? Should there be some kind of legislation to try to stop back yard breeders and irresponsible dog ownership?

Trinity: Breed Specific Legislation and Breed Bans is a major reason our shelters are overfilling with dogs.

So many families have surrendered their dogs due to these.  When the economy crashed many people lost their homes, forcing them to downsize and move.  Phoenix, even though I feel is a very dog friendly city, has so many Breed Bans on apartments, complexes and Hoa’s.  This does not only cause people to surrender their dogs, but it causes many potential adopters to not adopt.

Back yard breeders are another huge issue.  There are so many programs and ways to get dogs spayed and neutered for not only free but at minimal costs.  I have no issues with breeders who are educated, and breed AKC  registered breeds.  They are doing it correctly.

I come across so many people who breed their mixed breed dogs just to sell them for a quick $50.  Phoenix does not need any more mixed breed dogs, the shelters are overfilling, many are mixed breed chihuahua or pit bulls.  These are two breeds most likely being euthanized in Phoenix every day. There are over 100 dogs being euthanized every single day in phoenix.  Yet the shelters are still filling up.

3. Phoenix/Maricopa county is so enormous and the climate is so different than many states – how does that affect your rescues and what you see?

Trinity: I come from the east coast.  It was shocking to see the amount of stray dogs in Phoenix.  I also noticed many of the transient citizens have dogs as well.  These two things I was not use to at all.  I believe maybe the temperature has something to do with this, more suitable condition for a stray dog to survive compared to the harsh winters of New England.  The amount of strays or loose roaming dogs is overwhelming.  This really is an issue.  This is how unwanted litters are made.  Phoenix is highly populated, unfortunately many people seems to not value the lives of dogs.

4. I, myself am  a pit / mutt owner and I honestly had no clue about the negative stereotype of this “breed” until I came across a group called Have you ever had to deal with that group?

Trinity: Unfortunately I have come across this website before. All I can say is they do nothing but hurt an already broken system in dire need of fixing.  I honestly don’t believe these people known the first thing when it comes to dogs.  The media is biased which leads people to believe Pit Bulls are something they most certainly are not.

5. What are some of the issues you see going on within the rescue community?

Trinity: There could be a reality show following some of the rescues in Phoenix.  Unfortunately there are many rescues who are not in it for the dogs.  It’s sad to say and it’s even sadder to see.  Most rescues are about making money.  They keep their dogs in deplorable conditions.  They are worse then dog hoarders.

Many rescues I would consider puppy flippers, which are people who basically take in a dog to sell right away to make money.  It’s sad because they give rescues a bad name. I know of several rescues who have lost track of their dogs and puppies, adopted out puppies to people who honestly should not own dogs, they don’t give the dogs proper medical care, they don’t do home checks, they don’t follow up on dogs, they are money motivated.  This is sad.
There needs to be some sort of system in place to monitor rescues, something needs to be done.

I know of one rescue who adopts out aggressive dogs with out giving them the proper training, even basic training that they need.  This makes it hard for people to want to adopt from a rescue once they have had a bad experience.  I even know of a rescue who takes in hurt and injured dogs, just so they can ask for donations, which never goes to the actual dog.  This is fraud, this is sick.  This is an issue with many of the larger rescues in Phoenix.

6. Your view on the no kill movement? No one likes to euthanize animals but have you come across dogs that there is no other option due to aggression?

Trinity: There is never a truly no kill shelter.  Many dogs need to be euthanized due to medical issues.  Sometimes it’s the humane thing to do.  I understand this.  I am not against a humane euthanasia.  I don’t like when shelters euthanize perfectly healthy family dogs.  Again, I don’t believe in having aggressive dogs.  There is too many amazing, well trained, family dogs who are being euthanized on a daily basis.  I do know that some dogs due to their upbringing have behavioral aggression issues.  Some are so bad there really is no hope.  That’s why I would like to open an Aggressive Dog Sanctuary in Northern Arizona.

Sadly there isn’t any option at the moment for aggressive dogs. I don’t believe aggression is a dogs fault at all, there needs to be an outlet for them as well.  Normal rescuing to adopt out is not one of them.  This is why I would like to open my sanctuary for them.  Until then humane euthanasia may be the only option

7. What is your experience for Animal Control in Phoenix?

Trinity: The Animal Control in Phoenix has quite the bad rap.  I don’t listen to the negativity.  Every experience I have had with animal control has been delightful.  They are not the bad guys.  One issue that I do see is the initial evaluation at intake to the shelters, dogs sometimes get misclassified. Yet they are more then happy to re evaluate a dog when requested to do so.  Again this has to do with an overwhelming amount of dogs being taken into the shelters.

8. According to – “Pit Bulls ignore signs of submission from other dogs”, and “give no warning prior to attack” – What are your thoughts on this statement?

Trinity: This is the most inaccurate and ignorant thing I have read in a long time.

9. likes to cherry pick info from the ASPCA and they throw this statement out all the time – “Install a panic button in rooms housing pit bulls along with other restraint equipment in any room housing pit bulls”, what are your thoughts on this?

Trinity: Things like this only hurt animals in need.  I would disassociate and remove myself from contact with anyone who truly believes they need a panic button for owning a pit bull.  Is this for dog fighters? People who are training their dogs to attack people?  I honestly can’t even begin to think of a response to this.

10. From your experience – the good, bad and the ugly: What is really needed to crack down on dog fighting, back yard breeding, abuse and animal hoarding?

Stricter laws and public education.  Yet many of the cases of animal abuse and neglect that I have seen personally have been families who should probably have the Police and  Child Protective Services heavily involved in their lives.

11. Is dog fighting a issue in Phoenix?

Trinity: Yes very much so.  About three years ago, there was a dog fighting ring broken up by police just blocks from where I live.  Unfortunately there are many people with different cultural backgrounds and values who reside in Phoenix.  They are used to what they are used to, unfortunately dog fighting is accepted in certain cultures.  This is where stricter laws and education could come in handy.

12. What are things your rescue needs?

I am constantly in need of food, treats, blankets, crates, kennels, leashes, collars, dog beds, towels, funding for vetting, locations for adoption events, volunteers, signs, I am in need of everything on a constant basis.  When I do get donations I always give to other rescues as well.  Anything that can be bleached and cleaned is perfect.  Nothing needs to be new either.  I can even taken in old and broken kennels, I have ways of fixing them and making them like new again.  I also have a paypal account for donations.

#pitbullweek is about so much more than our dogs. It’s about those that sacrifice and work daily for millions of dogs. Many times those people are nameless, unknown and sometimes forgotten about. It’s people like Trinity and the hundreds and thousands of advocates and rescues that shed blood, sweat and tears trying to educate our communities and make it a better place for humans and animals alike.

I can’t thank people like Trinity enough for doing what they do and I’m so excited about dedicating this week to Advocates and Rescues. Granted, they might not be as cute as the pooches they rescue and fight for, but without them, we wouldn’t be blessed with our two pampered pooches.

Are BSL Advocates a Danger to Our Community?

As BSL Advocates preach about public safety against the threat of pit bull type dogs and a least 20 other breeds of dogs, the question should be asked:

Who is the real danger to our community?

rickfiteWhen we start pulling back the curtain, we find that violence is one of the fundamental building blocks in the BSL advocacy. They dedicate hours every day thinking of ways to kill, torture and maim dogs and inflict emotional and physical harm of the dog owners.  Can you imagine the fear you and your children would be filled with if you were walking your dog and you came across Rick Fite armed with such a devastating weapon? It’s obvious he places zero value on human life as he lets his young child play with the bullets of the deadly weapon.

Intimidation is nothing new to BSL Advocates. In fact, it’s something they rely on as they openly brag about killing.

Intimidation: is intentional behavior that “would cause a person of ordinary sensibilities” fear of injury or harm. It is not necessary to prove that the behavior was so violent as to cause terror or that the victim was actually frightened.

When we discuss public safety as a community we need to start shedding light on the desire to expose our families to violence and harm that BSL advocates openly support. In fact, Intimidation is the name of a criminal offense in several U.S. states. The definitions of the crime of Intimidation differ by state but even beyond that, could the terrorism tactics used by BSL Advocates towards pit bull owners be deemed a a hate crime?

Hate Crime/Bias motivated Crime: is a usually violent, prejudice motivated crime that occurs when a perpetrator targets a victim because of his or her perceived membership in a certain social group.

BSL Advocates openly admit that it’s encouraged to openly mock, shame and harass pit bull type dog owners with the intent of humiliating and harassing.

wpid-screenshot_2015-07-07-18-12-412They openly acknowledge their intent to target a certain social group, discriminate against the dog owners of specific breeds and to even threaten with violence.

Can you imagine the emotional trauma inflicted on a child walking their dog with their family and Olivia started flashing and waving her knives? As a society, when is it okay to permit the threat of violence? Can you image the damage and the carnage that Rick Fite would inflict if he opened fire in a public setting? He would not only kill the dog(s) but the possibility of killing and injuring people would almost be a certainty. If Olivia decided to expose her multiple knives and confronted a family or individual walking their dog and she ended up stabbing the dog and owners? Why do BSL Advocates feel they get a free pass on endangering our communities?

They might feel that they do, but history has shown that the public is not tolerant of the behavior. Richard Prince, a former fire fighter demoted and eventually forced into retirement was called out by millions as he spoke about killing and torturing dogs as a fire fighter. Regardless of their own personal beliefs, BSL Advocates do not have the right to terrorize innocent people. BSL Advocates do not have the right to endanger, threaten physical violence and death towards innocent people because they don’t like their dog.

This is why it’s so important that people understand that BSL isn’t just about dogs. Breed Specific Legislation is very much about the people behind the dogs. It’s about a community, it’s about discriminating against millions of people and BSL advocates feel that it’s acceptable to terrorize a certain social group of individuals.

What should make our legislators and communities pause and have great concern when dealing with BSL advocates is their enjoyment in animal abuse. It’s not something they hid, they talk about it, brag about it and find it funny.

Animal abusers are five times more likely to commit violent crimes against people.

In 1985, researchers Stephen Kellert and Alan Felthous extensively studied the animal abuse phenomenon. They discovered several motivations that helped to characterize animal cruelty in adults, many of which are applicable to youth who abuse animals. Some motivations are:

  1. To enhance one’s own aggressiveness. To shock people for amusement.
  2. Controlling an animal through inflicting pain as a result of the sense of loss of full control in one’s own life. (Physically abused by parents.)
  3. Retaliation against a person by hurting their pet.
  4. To experience sadism (the suffering experienced by the animal).

As a society, we really need to be deeply concerned about this issue and how BSL advocates promote such violence. Animal cruelty is becoming more and more publicized in the media and the abuse is becoming heinous and it’s obvious to see the tie between the BSL Advocacy and the recent animal cruelty cases in the media.

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WJBK) – A decapitated dog was found Saturday on railroad tracks near Mound Road between 14 Mile and 15 Mile roads.
The dog was found by two men who were searching for their missing dog.  The men found a dog tag and called the owners.  The owners of the 6-year-old boxer dog named Layla called police. Turns out, Layla had escaped from her home Friday night while the owners were gone. They believe the dog pushed open a window and knocked a screen out.

Let’s not forget to mention BSL Adocates like “Sarah Howard” who endanger family dogs and families by cyber stalking families that own bully/pit type dogs.

It’s safe to say that this family and their newly adopted dog are now in danger thanks to Sarah as she scours this man’s facebook page and releases any and all private information into private BSL groups.

Unlike Lesley, I blacked out the images of the children’s faces especially considering the pedophilia and bestiality obsessions with many of the BSL Advocates.

As a community, we need to apply pressure on our local judicial authorities to take cases of animal abuse seriously. The laws must speak for themselves, so that each is clear that violence against any sentient beings – whether human or animal – is not acceptable. That means we need to start holding BSL advocates responsible for their behavior- online and offline.
